Online application open for jobs in Malaysia
Malaysia has announced the date for online application for recruitment of foreign workers. Human Resources Minister M Saravanan has said that they have to apply for plantation work by January 28.
Apart from this, foreign workers will be able to apply in other sectors including tree planting from February 15 through here .
The government has given a special approval in September last year to bring in 32,000 foreign workers to reduce the labor shortage in the plantation sector, according to a notice signed by the Minister of Human Resources on January 15.
According to the rules, all foreign workers must be in a 7-day quarantine during which they will be screened twice for Covid-19 and employers will have to bear the cost.
